Successes abroad – League of Nations, Locarno Treaties and Kellogg-Briand Pact.

Successes abroad – League of Nations, Locarno Treaties and Kellogg-Briand Pact.
  1. In October 1925, Stresemann agreed to the Locarno Treaties. This meant that the western borders were agreed on, but not the eastern.
  2. In October 1928, Germany was one of 65 countries to sign the Kellog-Briand Pact. They promised not to use force to settle arguments.
  3. The Locarno Treaties suggested that Germany was at last prepared to accept the terms of the Versailles Treaty. Germany joined the League of Nations in 1926. The Kellogg-Briand Pact seemed to be a step towards lasting peace.
